There's something so peaceful about a walk through the woods, especially next to a river when you can hear the water rushing. It's good for the soul!
I snapped this photo on a recent day trip to Beaver's Bend, Oklahoma
with the family. Some of the guys fished for trout, several in our group
simply planted themselves on a rock and watched the water go
by, while the rest of us took a nice slow walk along the river.
We all
gathered up for a big picnic before heading home.
That's what I call a
perfect day.
