Scenes from the Country - No. 15

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

There's something so peaceful about a walk through the woods, especially next to a river when you can hear the water rushing. It's good for the soul!

I snapped this photo on a recent day trip to Beaver's Bend, Oklahoma with the family. Some of the guys fished for trout, several in our group simply planted themselves on a rock and watched the water go by, while the rest of us took a nice slow walk along the river.

We all gathered up for a big picnic before heading home.

That's what I call a perfect day.

Here's a Heart Rock for your Pocket:
For great is the Lord and most worthy of Praise! 1 Chronicles 16:25

Wishing you God's best,
Elaine
