Scenes from the Country - No. 10

Friday, October 31, 2014

I had never actually seen olive trees before our trip to California this summer. They are beautiful. I picked up some seeds from beneath the trees in hopes that I can grow them in East Texas. Our local vineyards thrive here, so maybe olives will too!

Here's a Heart Rock for your Pocket:
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Wishing you God's best,
Elaine

  5. I love the verse you chose and how you describe it as a heart rock for our pocket. A beautiful image to remember when studying God's word. Blessed you linked with The Weekend Brew.

  6. Beautiful!! My parents had a nativity set carved from olive tree wood. I used to love to smell them when I was a kid. When I read that these were olive trees...I could smell them again :)
